    • Very caring staff. Great location. Very good facilities.

    Cons -

    • The room was small, but this is very typical for Japan.
    • The room is too small. It's hard for 2 big suitcases to lay down in the room. The rooms smell either smoking or poop.
    • Breakfast very local… not adapted at all to tourists, not even scramble eggs they had

Close proximity to train station (2mins walk). Walking distance to dotonbori and shinsaibashi. Many food options nearby. 711 across the hotel.

Room was a bit dusty. Otherwise it was good value and location.

The employee who checked us in was very friendly, the one who checked us out not so much. The room was way too hot and the control panel on the wall didn't allow to change the function to air conditioning.. We had a very bad night because the room was like a sauna. The room was very small for the price and it wasn't cleaned up throughly, because we found some trash under a chair. We won't be staying there again.

    Very poor

The temperature in your room is not under your control. The building has an outdated system that controls the air conditioning and heating as a whole. Their solution was to open the window. Furthermore, the room is severely limited in space, making it difficult to move around comfortably.

The location is good. Just a fews steps from Nagahoribashi Station Exit. Also near the convenience stores and restaurant. I like that it is super near to Yoshinoya. The room is cleaned everyday and the staff is amazing. Super nice and attentive.

Location is close to Shinsaibashi street and was walkable to Dotonbori/Kuromon Market. Could reach other tourist spots within 1-3 metro stops.Staff was responsive and helped receive our luggage’s from Yamato Transport (we were coming from Tokyo via Shinkansen and didn’t want to lug around our bags) We were also able to store our bags with the front desk when we arrived early/checked out early.Provided with individually packed toiletries like q-tips, comb, face towel, hair tie, razor, and skincare.

Room was tiny. Not great for big suitcases. Carryon and maybe a medium sized luggage at best if you want ample walking space.Kinda hot and stuffy inside the room. Thermostat could only lower to 16C and it felt warmer than that. (We were here in December)

Fairly New Room Condition, Tidy, Convenient Location

Horrible Front Desk Receptionist Service! To make things clear, this is my Second time Checking-in choosing to stay with this hotel after spending 2 Nights here a couple of days prior.Upon arriving back to Check-in at 14:30 I was told that the Check-in time was 15:00 and I would need a Membership for early Check-in, therefore I was instructed by the Staff to wait patiently at the Hotel Lobby's Sofa. However, after me there were 2 different Group of Guests Checking in and they were offered "FREE MEMBERSHIP!!" by that very same staff to be eligible for early Check-in, while I was pointed to be sitting pointlessly waiting like a FOOL to check in at 15:00!!I'm a Repeating Guest at this Hotel and IT'S A SHAME for the "BEST WESTERN BRAND" that they're treating Loyal Repeating Guests with DOUBLE STANDARDS!!THIS IS RUDE AND TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!

The walls seemed to be 'sound proof'. Our floor was fully occupied but I could hardly hear anything, not even the toilet flush. There were 2 pillows per bed. The windows could be opened slightly for ventilation. We've flown in from Canada and had giant bags. We need to access lift from the subway to the hotel. Most of reviews commented that they were advised to take Exit 6 to the hotel, and that particular exit are all stairs to the ground level on the main street. Hence, I did a bit of a virtual tour of the hotel prior to departure and found a lift at CRYSTA NAGAHORI that brings you up to the ground level in the vicinity of Best Western Fino. I have emailed the hotel to confirm, if the lift does connect from Crysta Nagahori to the street's ground level. Khaing was nice to check for me to confirm. She took the extra effort to email the Subway Station Master for the direction and confirmation. (Many thanks, Khaing).Extra shout out to Abdel at reception, what a lovely natured and professional, helpful young man.I eventually met Ms Khaing on my third day at the hotel, she seemed to know that I was looking out for her. She immediately exited the Reception counter area to greet me. Truly a warm gesture indeed.Crysta Nagahori is an underground shopping arcade, is directly connected to Shinsaibashi Station on the Yotsubashi, Midosuji, and Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Lines.Whichever train that you're coming in from, make your way to Crysta Nagahori. Look for SOUTH EXIT 3. Take the lift up to level 1 (B1 is the subway, B2-B4 is the parking complex). When you've reached Level 1, exit the lift and there will be a Best Western Fino sign right infront of you (look slightly up), Hotel Morning Box will be on your right. Turn right into the small road of that sign, turn left on the 2nd turning, the Best Western Fino Hotel will be on your right.

Some staffs at the reception and housekeeping who could not converse in simple English. To be precise, one is a 'darker' Asian ethnic male and another male Japanese, who kept conversing Japanese to non-Japanese guests at the Reception. The mini fridge in the room is not cold enough. I have read a few reviews regarding this matter, hence, I was prepared and not taken aback when the same matter happened to me.

The location of this hotel is excellent, as it’s conveniently close to the JR station and a 7-11, making it easy to buy anything you might need. The room was clean and well-maintained.

However, the room size was quite small, which could be challenging, especially if you have large luggage, as there isn't much space to open it comfortably. The bathroom was also a bit small, which was a bit uncomfortable for me as I’m taller.
